I gave my testimony at a Men’s Retreat a few years back. I was so nervous about it. I went on a hike that day before the evening session was to begin and I would have to speak. As I hiked, God brought Psalm 40 to mind. It was as if God were telling me “this is your story Robbie. Tell them what I did for you. Tell them that I did for you what I did for David.” I told these men my story, and God used it, and continues to use it, to carry on His glorious healing and work in my life even now. He may even have used it to touch the lives of the men on that retreat, who knows.

After that Men’s Retreat, I was led by the Lord to put together a testimony guide based on Psalm 40 to be used with the youth ministry at Church of the Epiphany that following summer. The students used this guide to share their testimonies and God moved in individuals and in our ministry in a mighty way.

I hope that you find this guide as a useful tool where God can meet you as you reflect on your story and so you can share your story with others so that God can also meet them where they are.
