It's that time of year again! Time to kick off our youth ministry seasons! I thought I would start this thread so that we could all share our kick-off ideas.

I'll share mine. We're having our traditional kick-off party at someone's home, but this year some things are going to be different.

First, I'm going to challenge parents to stay after they drop off their kids at both of our weekly meetings and stay near to pray for all the youth.

Second, I'm going to ask parents to make a commitment to take their kids on one-on-one retreats at some time during the year, and I'll provide them with materials for doing so.

Third, we're currently envisioning a family mission trip, and we're going to get parents on board.
