Boy am I glad to see this site and learn of new efforts going in this direction. As soon as I'm done writing this comment, I'm posting the link on our site for ACN Anglicans here in San Diego ( http://sandiegoanglicans.com ).
This week, my wife and I decided to take our son around the corner to the local Baptist church for their mid-week AWANA program. It's too bad there isn't anything like this for him at Biblical Anglican churches in the area right now, but seeing this site gives me hope that help is on the way. I'm convinced that youth ministry is the most fruitful and lasting ministry any church can focus on.
Awana is a great program. I'd love to see a conservative Anglican church start a program. I went through it as a kid. It's structured a little like boy/girl scouts with vests, workbooks, and awards. Lots of Bible memory.
Anyway, let us know how we can help. When are you coming to Southern Ca?

Thanks for jumping in David. :^)
The Network is doing an event in San Jose next month, and Jack might be doing a youth track there (eh?). I suppose that's a Pennsylvania away from San Diego, but s'the best I got for you. :^/

I totally agree, David. I am very interested in seeing curriculum developed for use in our parishes that will be strong on Biblical knowledge as well as teaching about our Anglican faith. Other denominations are doing it so well--surely we can do this too! I'm also interested in resources for use in our homes to help us live out the liturgical year and deepen our family devotion times. I've seen some fabulous RC resources, but I would really like to see something Anglican that doesn't have to be constantly adapted. It is my prayer that this initiative will take us in that direction.
